Ya know, I have been running anywhere between 1 and 4 cells in my cars. (usually 3cells) I don't understand why you guy's have problems with your motors pooping out. I have never worn a motor out. I do use them alot, too.

Do me a favor?

Anyone who owns a Perf. 3.8, R-spec, or Form. 3.4...

If you have 2 of the 3 or all three, compare them to each other for me. Rate their torque from best to worst, as well as speed. Try them in your 2 and 3 cell cars too, to see how they respond to more juice. I have motors that work better than others in single cell cars, but not dual or tri.

If possible could you say xxx motor is xxx % faster than xxx motor. Kinda like that, koo?

This nails down the performance a little better than A is better than B.

I have a few motors:

1) Perfection 3.8 vs. Bit Char G motors 3.8 + 3.2:
perfection has way more torque and easily blows away the other 3.8 off the line. Top speed also goes to the perfection -- I don't know about percentage, but on my track the perfection would steadily gain ground and over take. Bit Char G motors 3.2 had better torque, but still less than perfection. Perfection is running strong, others died. I did break them in, and only ran on smooth surfaces.

2) RSpec vs Perfection: Both have good torque -- slight edge to the RSpec, but comparable. I did not drive this in my car -- this is from racing my brother-in-law. RSpec also faster. His car would slowly gain ground on mine. Again, any percentage I say would be a guess, but it was faster. Note: RSpec is now dead -- perfection still running strong. I don't know if he broke it in or not.

I will be comparing the Perfection to the formula 34 today. I have no duel cell cars yet to test.

Perfection 3.8 is more reliable than R-spec

(yes i would return it to tiny for a replacement but it takes for ever.)
Have You tried the Perfection 3.8? It is a very fast motor with great torque. I haven't tried the R-spec, but I'm perfectly satisfied with the "Perfection". And you can't beat the price.($4.95) I've got a few of the 2.2 & 3.0 Perfection motors on the way, should be in today!

Hey DarkTari, do us a favor and write a little review of the new Perfection motors once you try them out. I'm very interested in how these perform.
