Now all we need is a Zip Zap owner or an extended bit owner willing to smack some huge tires on there and giver a go!
would definatly need a custom body, or custom mounts for the bit racer bodies...

This would enable a bit to go anywhere! heh would be fun i think.....

*imagines flying into a wall at top speed, bouncing up and around, tires still spinning, then taking off the second it touches the ground*

i smell a tiny Tyco Rebound on this project here....

swavey, i think it'd work great.. just like the big version.. but the only problem is, do you have the torque to flip the car over at will? you know what im saying rite...?

im thinkin whoever wants to do this is going to need at least 2 cells, and a clone PCB....

it will work if you try hard enuf ^_^

That's what its called! The Rebound. Would the car be able to push these big tires and would it be able to fit on the charging pad? How high do you think it could handle. I want to drive it off my balcony, or maybe attach a parachute and put a humvee body on it. Paratrooper bit.

I actually have a Tyco car very similar to the robound... heh not sure if it is one or not... the tires are filled with air and stuff so it used to really bounce....
That was my insperation :P

I think:
- Bit PCB would do
- Dual Cell IS needed
- Extended Bit, or ZipZap chassis would be best. so you can acomodate the dual yet maintain the low profile.
- Big tires to get both sides off the gound, with reasonable clearence.

I was running my "Another Monster Wheelset around on my newly dual-celld car, and my conclusion is that the first time you smack the wall with one of these cars it will break something!

I am shelving my even larger wheelset for the moment, mostly because I want to make another Lego Wheelset with the Zip Zap wheels I have.
Another reason is that huge heavy wheels are simply overtaxing the drive and steering systems and while I may try a tri-cell soon to see how it is, doing a brute-force approach and dumping more power into the system is not the best solution.

It's the weight of the wheels that killing it from what I can see.

A big huge set of foam wheels would be perfect. Heck, use closed-cell foam, and the stupid thing might be a puddle-jumper too!
