My LXX Bit Char Clone AVI clip with 1.6 and PICs

I just bought 2 motors from this site. A 1.6 color is blue and 3.8 color is green, Are these the right colors for these motors. Maybe tinyrc can answer that for me since this is the place that I bought them from. The one in the clip is a 1.6. I am having trouble with the 3.8 the gears seem to bind a little when moving foward at start up and the gears bind a lot in reverse it wont move unless I nudge it.. Do I need special gears for the 3.8 motor? Any help would be great.

Thanks
Tony

Toecutter, those are indeed the correct colors. RE the gears, what gears does the LXX come with? Because the 3.8 doesn't need different gears on a regular Bit, but some OEMs are geared tall, in which case you're going to need to get a proper gear set instead.

Not sure about the gears the color looks to be an orange pink color!. It only seems to bind when I put the car down to drive it. It will spin free when I hold the car. What do you recomend? I know I saw some gear and sway bar sets for sale in your parts shop.

Let me know I just may break out with some paypal

Toecutter, is it your only car, or do you have another BC-G that you can try swapping gears/axles with? Yes, the gear set you mention will help.

Not yetStill waiting on 2 more cars like this. The car runs good and I like it. But if I had found this site earlier I would have bought the real deal from you. I do notice that the gear between the axle gear and the pinon gear move alot at angles from side to side, like the hole thats in it is to large and is giving it to much play I think I'm gonna order some stuff right now..

Catch ya later

Tony

anyone seen the new clone body style? Appears to be a Ferrari F50. What do you think of it?

OMG

Look at what someone bid on that auction and what the auction opened for. I think someone is getting ripped off buying a clone for 300 bucks. I think we have entered the twilight zone.

Hmmmm the posiblities of having 10-15 cars on same frequency and use one control and they all move at the same time....that would be wild.
