Okay, so there's a good possibilty that the standard controllers can be readily made into Booster controllers...Kickass
But what about the car PCB?

Hey, that was your end... this thread started by you talking about the car characteristics. right? I started at the other end.

Just so you all know, what the boost actually does is pulse current to the motor. Hold the weels and press foward and you'll see what i mean. Pretty simple system.

Yes, we know that....(pulse current to the motor)

Here's what I'm curious about. Namuna is finding the Booster to put out more current than a regular Bit, and my MS Sport has noticeably much more torque, than my Bit. I wonder how the MS Sport compares to the Booster.
Namuna, any chance you could get a hold of a MS Sport to test? I'd do it myself, but I think my cheapie multi-meter is giving me inaccurate mA readings.

The 1.6 that comes with the sport is a 'Torque Monster' to begin with... have you swapped the motor into your other bit for a 'non-scientific' comparison? That maybe the only reason, or maybe Tomy did a little tweakin' to the pcb?!! *shrug

If someone wants to send me one to test, then sure.
I've got more than enough 'toys' as it is. The MS Sport doesn't really appeal to me enough to go out and buy it.

I've tried a 1.0, 1.6, 2.6, 3.2, and a 3.8 in both cars, and in every situation the MS sport was quicker, and nearly uncontrollable. I'm really curious if my MS Sport is a fluke, or if Tomy has done some tweakin'.
**Forgot to mention that I've even switched batteries to see if that was where the extra power was coming from.

Had a feeling that would be your answer. (Seen it before ) I understand though. I'd send you mine, but I think I might be better off just investing in a better meter.
Anyone else with a decent multi-meter want to get a Sport to test.?

I have a pretty decent meter that I've gotten good readings from,
I'll play with a Sport this weekend to see what I get from it.
As for noxorc's idea, how great would that be if we could convert all our "standard" Bit's into boosters!

Does anybody have a Shen Qi Wei to test? Everybody seems to look down at these cars as cheap imitations, but this site here has me convinced they're pretty good (they're $12 ). All the parts are the same as char-g parts; I just wanna know which car's PCB will send more juice to the motor!
I think the bubble display thing is kinda cool too.

Hello, its me again Jeff Gordon(Nascar) I was just wondering where to get the 350Z OFF THE WEB. I can't find it in stores and i have one day shipping so that is why i need it off the web. If you cna give me the exact website of where to get it i will send you free Nascar parts. These parts are not going to be released until 2004, but the company pays for me to give some away.(They are sweet!)
Thanks,
Jeff Gordon (Jemac)
