BTW, I charge my car for 1:15, it gets more runtime than the normal charge on a single cell. I don't know about battery availability from Radio Shack.

That's cool.Thanks Lowtrac. I might try that, but soldering takes too long so I probably will just go to radioshack and get a 4aa cartridge.

I'm not sure why you say soldering takes too long... I mean, I probably have about 15 seconds of actual soldering time in that project. I agree that the four cell holder from Radio Shack is the easier way to go though. I'd still suggest soldering your charging pad to the battery pack for "robustness". I'm not a big fan of wrap and tape splicing.
