Suntzu is working on making clear bodies.
Unfortunatly for the price fully painted bodies aren't possible but who knows maybe in the future.

Clear resin molds require a vacuum chamber. Without it, it's "IMPOSIBLE" to get the air bubbles out. The regular cream finish resin molds are A LOT easier to use and much more cost effective. They also cure quicker.

Your right Stridex ( although not imposible just Extremely time consuming). Stay tuned though as i will have some "clear" bodies coming up that may by pass the traditional hurdle clear agents provide.
Also there may be some sculpted bodies coming along also......Lots of new goodies.

All i can say is guys if you like the idea of custom cars ready to paint PICK UP A BODY. Materials cost and as much as i enjoy this making bodies isnt free ( but spreading the cost makes it darn near ).
Im not looking to "bank" simply looking to cover materials.

Suntzu, who's products are you using to make these? How fast does the resin set?

Swavey - E-mail Carbodies@hotmail.com..we will work something out....
Stridex - Although im no longer using bodies off retail shelves right now ( i will again in the future. Right now im attempting a 'free hand" model) in the past i have used a variety of cars ( i have never been a die cast fan so im not quite sure of all the name brands).
Ill check for you though....
Btw..i just switched over to a new semi clear agent ( for bodies).

Let me know if the semi clear dries fast and without bubbles. If so, please let me know (in private if you must) where you bought it.
Edit: Suntzus, In my previous post, I was wondering what resin products you were using. It looks like alumilite, but I didn't want to guess. Am I right?
