painting rims and painting the whole body are kind of 2 separate adventures  rims can definitely be managed with a brush, but once you start hitting the larger surfaces with a brush (hood, roof, sides), the brush strokes can really become apparent....it's just tough to get a "happy medium" between thick & thin coats with a brush.

For masking can you cover it with 2 layers of masking tape & cut w/ an exacto knife. I'm thinkin of that. I got a good knife hand

I only use one layer of masking tape and a box cutter knife.

how woud you like it if some stupid lil twat came and painted your property and made your nieghborhood look like crap? if i ever caught a tagger id punch him square in the face. then maybe spray him.

The thing is...I should have primered by body, because if I hold it up to light, its transparent in parts and really uneven. Also, brush strokes sort of disappear as the paint dries, but I can't get the damn thing to be totally opaque.
Also, I agree, taggers should be shot. Usually some high school kids just write a bunch of illegible and unattractive jibberish. It means nothing to anyone.

i wasnt talking about running up and down the street with a marker. thats sensless vandalism and not really an artform.
there are grafitti artists who make more money doing a single mural than you make in a year.

sorry ive never heard of a grafitti artist makeing 50k for one mural... come to think of it i havent heard of them making 15k either...
