You need a light for your screen (wormlight, custom,ect.). Then you need to connect 6 IR LEDs in series with some resistor,(or just use a working Tv controller). Connect them to a 21/23 battery, 12V, and put them on the back of the game boy or camera. adjust the lens, and you're done!

(This mod is easy, and won't affect the camera[unless you
hacked the camera])

I found this out one day when I was experimenting with the camera. I'm surprised that I haven't found any web pages that even mentioned using the camera like this!
