you dont have to pay customs or taxes or anything for orders from toy east . my order just arrived today, it was shipped the 20th so 11day shipping. not bad for overseas i guess

Cool, I was kind of wondering if there was going to be additional charges from US customs. The shipping was kind of expensive, but considering they are coming from Hong Kong, I guess it is reasonable. If everything goes well, I will continue to order "Japan market" BCG from ToyEast. The Wild Char-G's look interesting, and the bus models look pretty cool too!

Yes, the motors and gears are 100% compatible.

The car's gears suck but once you get new ones its a dream to drive. I like them a lot better than my Tomy. The distance range is a lot better too b/c it doesn't have the cripple capacitor in it. Also the stock turning is really really great, this is the primary reason I would offer it to a friend. Mine out-steers my Tomy hands down. Using a 2.6 motor I can cut turns and have a 3-4 inch turning radius. While my Tomy would flip over.

Just got back from work, and found the package from Hong Kong on my doorstep! Haven't tried anything out yet, but everything is in good shape after the long journey to the states. Toyeast did an excellent job of packing the box, and it came a little sooner than expected. I would definitely do business with them again!
