Here is the beginning of my track in my hobbyroom...

1.2m X 2.0m 19mm MDF(wood) two parts 1.2m X 1.0m

10mm X 40mm L-profile for the border

8mm clear round plastic(schlauch) (Aquaristik)

and many many nails...

Wow thats really nice, must have tekn you forever! Good job! By the way, is the clear plastic used for the guard rails? Because in the pic it looks like its metal or something metallic.

The outside boarder is a L-profile 10mm X 40 mm (ABS)

The inside boarder is a 8mm clear soft plastic hose like it is used for Aquarium (at home). It is fantastic to make

curves with every radius you want. To put two ends of it together you only need the same plastic hose with 6mm:

I never would have guessed that it would be the tubing like they have in aquariums! Now that i think of it that would be an awesome guard rail. Be sure to post more pics when you put in some more things. Good work!

Thats awesome! I used flat sprinkler hose on mine... and just duct taped it on... and made the mistake of not straightening it before putting it on... So its started to kinda warp out of its normal shape... i wanna build another track with more polish... And that stuff looks great!
