Well I was told the original LXX only had like 8 steps in either direction, and the XMod had about... if I recal 12 steps either direction? (trying to find that post it was on here).
And its NOT the turning radius that is in question, every one knows the Radius on the Xmod totaly sucks.. and if the I Waver copied the Mini-Z front end, then it will turn exactly as tight as the Mini-Z...
The issue with Steps, is how many jerks or bumps, or whatever, thus called steps, there is from full center, to full left... this is the equivilent of calling a bit charge a 3 step steering, Left Center and Right.. thre is no inbetween, then some cars, will add one half way left and one half way right, now we have a 5 step.. then more and more...
the mini-z is supose to be stepless... wich usualy means it has 512 either way, or 512 total, or 1024 or whatever... basicly so many that its impossible to see or count them, its all controled by the expensive chips on the Mini-Z PCB, these are usualy left off of the clones, in order to make them cheaper to produce, thus they wind up being NON proportional, or only partial proportional...
That being said, in posts about the lxx/iwaver, I recall ppl saying 8, 12, 28? numbers along those lines... just search for steps... bound to find something (about to do so my self). Some of these posters just counted were the steering stopped... others counted electonic conductors in the electronics (wich I am not so sure about that method).
I dont know how many my Xmod has, cuz I have yet to even put batteries in it LOL... I have no 9v cell to power the TX, thinking of rigging an adapter for alternat 9v input

.
(as for the I come in peace coment, i wont go there, I did not "attack" any one in any of my clone posts).
