LOL... I'm sorry, I didn't know you wanted to buy it. I thought you wanted to know the price of the belt. It's kinda hard to make one because i had to look in 2 different VCR Repair store for the right size pully. Sorry, not for seal. If you find the right pully and need me to put it together for you. we could talk some more. I'll do it for free, but you will have to pay for the belt. which is $2-$3

the advantages i see are much less noise and smoother movement than gears.
disadvantages i see are belts losing tension and stretching, leading to breaking and frequent belt changing. also, the belt will stretch just a bit to a lot (depending on the belt itself) if you kinda gun the throttle and makes a slight delay as the belt stretches then tries to pull itself back together to turn the wheels. plus i think if you gun it hard enough it will slip and whenever it slips it'll create heat from friction and will destroy the belt even quicker.
if only you could make your own belts, then you could make it very heat resistant, have very little elasticity, and have it notched to engage the original gears instead of running on smooth pulleys.

I understand what you are saying... But from what i experience, the belt car actually accelerate faster then a SB-motor with a 9 tooth gear.
I've had the belt car for 3 months now, and driven it with a 5th cell AA 2000mha mod and has not yet had to change the belt. The other advantage i could think of is that you would not need to mod 3 gears if you are running a bigger motor. So the belt can ad you in your quest for bigger and better motor.
the only problem i had with the belt is that when going up a really steep hill, the belt would tend to slip.

These are just too small to make a CVT (continuously variable transmission).

how about trying dental elastics? maybe some of you have braces and your dentists made you wear dental elastics? Those are pretty strong material and doesn't stretch out too much like normal elastics. I have tons and tons and if anyone wants a few, i'll just ship 'em out for u guys to experiment on.
