I can see him driving a boat since they have had a few eps where he is driving a boat but Patric on something unless its his house or the box they have fun in in one epsode cant figure out. Be fun to see it. Hum....
Wonder if it will be an addon like the American Car and FF set?
Trying to remember what car the Mad Max Interceptor was based on. Been a while since I saw the move.

I watched it again last month, but I couldn't tell ya. I do know it's an Austrailia only can. Check a Mad Max site.
I'm down with the monkeys too, but I wouldn't want to race one.
And of course, what about NASCAR and the truck series. 1956 f-100? dodge dekota (The Zs are to small for a ram)? How about a Unimog? Now that would rock. CJ-5 or Wrangler? But any kind of truck, even a non-descript pick-up would work.

Earlier today, a good friend of mine, (works for Radio Shack), told me that the VW Beetle release has been moved from November '02 to January '03. He said the memo to the stores mentioned something about a delay with the licensing from VW.
They were going to release a European body kit that included the VW Beetle and the Porche 911 bodies in November. Now it will feature 2 Porche bodies. The VW will come out in January as a new starter kit first, then in a body kit later.
Just some FYI, take it for what it's worth

I keep thinking it was Ford Iron but need to check.
A guy after my own heart! I would love a truck! Would need to have a "covered" bed so it could fit on the drive body. The old Ideal Motorriffic line had a few trucks and they had a "tarp" over the truck bed. Strange but worked.
Tomy is releasing busses this month. And some form of battle truck in the future.
Saw on a German micro 1/87 scale RC site some one I think has a Unimog.
Actualy a company named Rolan have had for a few years a 3D plotter and a 3d mech based scanner. Each is about 1000 but included software and can pass data back and forth. But 2000 to make bodies for a 20 dollar car is a bit much.

A Dodge Dakota truck with a covered bed would definitely get my money! That's what I drive already
I'm not really sold on the new designs, but I think that anything to increase the ZZ's popularity will be a good thing. I'm sure they'll release more regular car styles over time, this may just be a marketing test to see what other age groups they can get into RadioShack.
Cheers.

Hmm... didn't I say that already? Well, thanks for the additional information!
The Spongebob set is like the F&F Supra/Civic kit set. Comes with custom rims and the two bodies. At least that's what the catalog I was looking at says.

some MadMax Car info
I did a quick search and found this site
http://www.madmaxmovies.com/cars/int.../history1.html
From the "Official" MadMax F.A.Q.
looks like a 1973 XB GT Ford Falcon Coupe.

SlackerZ, does the bus-like Zip Zap look like a Hummer H2?
