just tap the breaks, while you are in the turn and the rear wheeles will break lose, but i dont think that it would work on a awd car, but it might, i am not into drifting, just nitro rc!

oh there's no doubt that you can drift with RWD as i can do it with no preblems, it just takes different styles to do it, and you have to be aware of what you car is doing at the same time. all i'm saying is that AWD is easier to hold a drift so most people prefer it.

drifting
Most people don't even know what real drifting is........ I'm running in a parking garage underground and I'll be going like 1/2 to 3/4 speed when I start to take a turn around a 4ft wide support-post and then I gun it full throttle while cutting the wheel 1/2-3/4 of the way I want to turn and it'll float/skid sideways around the support column. That's drifting.....most people confuse it with powersliding which is basicly doing a 180/jacknife turn. I'm also very fond of doing reversies which are reverse powerslide but starting from a dead-stop. I watched too much Dukes of Hazzard, Starskie and Hutch and Smokey and the Bandit when I was little.....

Maybe my problem is that I'm running on a smooth cocrete floor, I don't have anywhere else to run it at the moment.

2NR i think you should feather the throttle in the turns and countersteer earlier right when you lose traction. i drive on a concrete floor. most of the reason why you end up doing a full 180 is because of late countersteer, not enough countersteer, or too much throttle. try setting ur suspension and tires for understeer. i love my skyline and it is rwd and i plan on keeping it that way.
my set up is pretty much almost stock except for a clutch type lsd and superglued stock tires. oh and hard springs and batteries shifted to the front. the lsd keeps the car from diffing out and the rear tires from gaining too much traction.

AWD is the best drift set up i've used to date.

I've tried countersteering early, late and every where in between. If I try to feather the throttle, I lose too much speed, and it basicaly becomes a powerslide. I think I just need a different surface, or AWD (if it ever becomes available ). The floor I'm running on is slippery as it is, but when I run it for a while, I get dust on the tires and the car gets really loose which gives me terrible oversteer.

i thought that a powerslide was sliding the rear end out just enough to give you a little oversteer to get around a sharp corner. am i wrong?

The stock Stage 1 white is best for a 4 cell car. I can break the tires' grip fairly easily with 6 cells and the stage 2 blue. BTW, from what I've read, AWD is easier to drift b/c it allows you to pull out of the drift, and also allows you to aim the car easier.
