When I was 11, I was down in my basement melting action figures with my soldering iron. It was the end of 5th grade for me and I was celebrating. Then somehow I burned myself and the top of my index finger looked like a skin colored lizard scale. Needless to say, I was swearing like a mofo.

Not my soldering iron... it is adjustable from 350-850, and I normally use it around 750.

....i burnt my upper lip w/ my soldering iron once.....luckily the burn mark was there a total of two days.....so just remember: dont sneeze while you have a soldering iron in your hand while it close to your face!....then within the next two weeks i sliced off a small chunk of my flesh w/ an exacto knife, sliced into my right pointer finger to the bone, and repeatedly stabbed myself with the exacto knife (which i didn't really mind after have sliced into my fingers previously). now, there is a small blood stain on the inside of my supra shell and i can say with much truth: i put my BLOOD and sweat into modding my xmod!

E-xacto and file nonos

Ok I have cut my finger tips several times with fresh out of the pack blades and right now I have on my left hand two needle size pricks which still draw blood and refuse to close up due to the small size of the holes or should I say finger pricks from the doctors office. I found out a way to combat these bothersome things which plague mine and others lives. I put super glue on the cuts after they have been closed up a bit and the bleeding can be stoped from getting on your finger. And another thing to if you ever do any filling that uses a bigger file than a regular hobby size file take a piece of electrical tape and put a band of it around your finger or part where the file would rub and actually let the file gently rub the tape region as aposed to letting the file slip off the working surface and obtaining a even worse cut by the file by the way the file will grate into your finger/hand part and make a worse cut due to the particles that are on the file or finger will sting due to the germs that plague the file from it's raw operation of scraping across whatever it comes across. My nuckles and ends of my fingers have all had a taste with this and i use latex gloves if I'm going to be painting or just tape if it's minior work. I hope none of you get any of these.

One time I was using a Dremel with the pointy tip, and it slipped and I stabbed my hand. I immediatly turned it off. The weird thing was, no blood came out but it hurt so bad. It scabbed over, but I still have a red mark from it.
