sheep

Just like everywhere else on the net, there are a lot of people who post lies for no purpose try to deceive and a lot of sheep who believe them. I'm quickly learning that there's no use in trying to point the deceivers out because the sheep will come baaaaaaing to their defense... oh well..

If you ask me, the whole site is a joke. I mean, really... how hard would it be to set up a forum, so people could show their cars and get real feedback instead of a stupid rating.
Then you could weed out the posers and retards, with some hilarious and degrading comments and send their stupid a**es walkin.
In a nutshell, Xmods site blows goats and I would stick with winners like Tiny RC, Bitpimps, and RCMod anyway.

Well, guessing from what I've seen on there, the average age of posters is about 10...

HAHAHA! That's just hilarious. Another fine example of how the Internet can help you lose your faith in humanity (and grammar) .

That site is run just like the stores "total RS control" everything has to be "APPROVED" before being posted (very lame-what are they afraid of).

There is no reason to really go there other than to see if something new has come out but even the we usually know before they annouce it.

It is good for a laugh though.

lets face it...as soon as you post an image, it's bound to get copied, linked to or used for dubious reasons. i actually found one of my overland pictures used in a site banner for another forum! how f'ed up is that?!? it's one thing to link to it or post it but to use it in a representational way is fraud to me...

anyway, as stated earlier in this thread, please take the time to get good pictures. a good picture of a mediocre car is better than a crap picture of a great car. bc has some nice ones, ask to see his mad force pics

i take great pride in most of the pictures i have in my MANY albums. alitlle work goes a long way.
tips:
1. natural daylight is almost always the best. glare and shadows can be a pain to avoid. but in some cases they are intentional
2. when necessary, use the macro mode...so tired of seeing blurry close ups. i know some don't have that feature, sorry.
3. many more but this is not a photograhpy class

Well, I acctualy give some props to the people who put thier "real" xmod on the site. At least they didn't take other people's pictures or photoshop real cars (that one pale skyline straight from the bomex website... Isn't that plagerism?) or take stock pictures nd photoshop them...People these day really neeed to start tell "and" showing the truth.
