scoops for money
Thanks for all the compliments, and yes maikeru gets some credit for helping. And about selling roof scoops, i could i guess, if people want them they can tell me what dimensions they want and i can make one, but its up to whoever buys one to mount and paint it themselves. So post here if you want a scoop for your roof or even your hood.

i wish i could drift maikeru
i suck at drifting so i don't do it. I always wreck and it blows chicken scrotum. is it easy to learn or do you just have to do it without thinking? but if i did do the drift circuit and you were winning i would run over to your car and kick it over

What type of paint did you use on your rims? It looks nice, you should put some of those scoops on eBay, people on eBay will bid on anything till it reaches $100.00 even if its a marker. You should get the measurements for the smallest xmods roof and sell it as universal.

paint on rims
I used the same paint on the rims as i did on the body, tamiya TS-50 Mica Blue on the front rims, and tamiya TS-17 Gloss Aluminum on the back rims. I tried to make another scoop and make it fit my brothers supra and ive been burning the crap outta my hands heating and bending the plastic. and the supra roof is a lot smaller and has more curve than the skyline so its been really tough to make it look good. but ill keep doin it till i get it down to a science, maybe try and make a sort of improvised press so i can mass produce scoops without having to do it by hand every time. and im also gonna try and make a hood scoop and see how that would look on my skyline.
