there would be a clearance issue if you did that. xmods needs to come out with a lift kit and big knobby tires
dont you think that would be cool?

Thats what I am hoping for. They already have an AWD kit. Now all they need is a lift kit and some huge wheels. Maybe Radioshack will release r/c's like the overland.

I don't wanna turn it into a rock crawler

If somehow i could gain just a little more ground clearance hardly any at all then it would be perfect!

one way to raise

Get some washers, and put them between the tab on the front and the chassis, then put some more between the tab in the back and the body. That sould raise it a little, and be reversable.
Plus a small bag of washers is easy to find at most hardware stores.
You could also use O rings or peices of fuel line.

I remember looking at the tire upgrade and the treaded tires looked like they had a bigger sidewall then the slicks.

I was probably gonna buy a tire set later on anyways so i'll just see if that works.....and if it doesn't i'll just mess with it untill i get a good idea.

It doesn't need to be raised alot just a little bit and i'll be happy wid it.

I was just gonna buy the tires anyway so it doesn't really matter. If it raises the car a little then it'll be like a added bonus
