cool but i see most people put the battery on the ceilling of the car so it would be able to get hidden.

Well, seeing as how that's IMPOSSIBLE, he put it on the back. It looks fine for what he did.

I just made this car into a sleeper! I relocated the 9V so its hidden! How'd I do it? I replaced one of the AAA holders with the 9V. It works great, its a little offset and the body is a little deformed looking cause its bent up, but otherwise its totally hidden. I also upgraded the antenna and added broken stripes by the way. I'll hopefully get new pics and a racing vid up soon!

How does your Xmod run on 15v (9v + 6v from the AAA's) when an Xmods circutry isn't rated for anything nearly that high?

Well now there are two AAA's and a 9V whatever that adds up to and it still "idles" like it did with the other two AAA's in it, its holding up fine otherwise though and is still VERY fast! The only negative is the battery life is very short!

The shocks are seeming to do fine, but now that I have the 9V on one side I might try putting yellow springs on that side and red on the AAA side.

I actually just mess around with it, I only have 2 friends with these RC's, so we just drag and drive them around. We'll set up a track every once in a while, but no big deal. We just like scrweing around with them to make them faster

yeah, except I haven't actually done anything to make it faster. I still have a Stage 1 motor, and the regular battery set-up. So mine is much slower than theirs, but it's still pretty fast.

But yours is definitely the fastest! I also have a carbon-fiber hood, which is also sweet.
