yea u wont have to look for a slick spot or surface to drift, u could do it on wet blacktop
but 40k rpm is gonna be heck on the gears :S an ied say u would have to go to bearings cuz the plastic bushings couldnt take it

but at my local RS i asked the guy if they were gonna have stage 3 motors an he said this "there saying there wont be a need for a stage 3 motor"

a friend of mine workin at my local RS told me that the stage3's would be 34k rpm...of course the price would be a bit higher, like maybe 19.99..... that's just a guess at the price but he's really sure about the rpms

I went to high school with the rs manager near me and when I asked him about a stage3 or any other type of upgrade motor kit he told me that they haven't heard anything at all, but if he did get one he would hold one on the side and let me know if he heard something.

And mt fiance thought she was helping me by getting and xmod

When i went back for some upgrades almost 2 weeks ago the manager pointed to an empty space on the rack and said, "thats for the stage 3 motors". I didn't ask about rpm's, or price. I simply asked "WHEN!?!?" He said he wasn't sure. I don't go way back with the guy or anything, and honestly he sort of comes off as a used-car salesman, which is why I didn't post the info two weeks ago. I'd like to think he's being honest but I'm not holding my breath.

well whats the point of getting a stage 3 motor anyways, the motors for the mini z can fit perfectly in the xmod and the cars electronics will handle most of the fastest motors u can get. The stage 2 was WEAK to the 9th power. Just get a mini z motor like the nml one and make ur car go vrooooom
