This happened on freshly charged Ni-MH batteries. I finally got a chance to really run it with the red motor and it accelerates a lot faster, even with the 9 tooth pinion instead of the 8. I think that motor is screwed up. I think I'm gonna use it as a practice mule for learning how to rewind motors.
