Exact date is TBD based on interest - which seems pretty good so we'll move forward v. soon. And yes they come w/ tires!

This may be a dumb question, but are there any problems with 6mm rims fitting vs. 5mm? I remember on the bitpimps alloy wheels group buy there was some concern about the larger ones having enough clearance in the front to turn.
Oh, and I don't suppose you have any pics of some of these badboys mounted yet...? Now I'm reconsidering which ones I want. Ahh, I just may have to get two sets

For anyone else trying to find more info on these, there are a couple more pictures on the German site http://www.bitchar-g.de/
The link to the alloys page is here
So the wheels are 9mm in diameter and 5-6mm wide. Will pullback rear tires fit these?

The alloys look awsome, how do they perform compared to the stock plastic wheels. Are they lighter ? Give better traction ? Flip over less ? Just curious.....

They are heavier than the stock plastic wheels, which is a good thing in this case. They are wider (see pic on German site), so they have better traction, turn better, and flip less often. The fact that they also look awesome is a bonus

I am very interested in joining this group buy...
How much would I have to pay extra to get them shipped to me in Alberta Canada.
Also, What is the axle hole like in these, the ones from before were bit and needed putty or tape or something to get fitted, are these ones the same? Or have the axle holes been reduced?
Thanx
 Swavey

Swavey, shipping to Canada via Airmail should be about the same as our normal US shipping.
