Looks like you got ripped off than, make sure you examine the merchandise before leaving the store. Here is a link to the body kit on Radioshack.com- http://www.radioshack.com/product.as...5Fid=60%2D7527

Are you talking about the body kit as in the cars or the white pieces I attached. The white pieces are styrene I bought at the LHS and shaped them to the car.

You can use any piece of plastic, like the packaging from the zip zaps works well and old credit/telephone calling cards. The only real benifits to styrene is that you can buy it in any thickness you need. For body kits though you really don't need anything too thick and can always sandwhich other pieces together. I will recomend getting some putty. Even though i don't like testors, you can find it at most wallmarts/target type stores where they carry model kits. You'll also need some fine grit sandpaper.

Work on it a little bit more. Trimed a little. Added the spoiler and a hood scoop. I still have to lower the chassis before the final step. I am also waiting for some different wheels to arrive in the mail. What do you think?
P.S. It will get painted, looking for a good racing color.

That's looking great so far! Really coming together. Did you make that spoiler or cabbage it from somewhere else?

Thanks guys! The spoiler came off of a Import Tuner diecast. I was gonna make my own, but saw this and thought it would look good. The wheels are not painted by me. They came with the modifiers deluxe kit I bought. You can read more about it here...

I have some other wheels I plan on using for the final product.

Progress so far...
I went ahead and found a slammed chassis to use. I will have to do the modifiers wheel mod to mount the wheels I have in mind. I went ahead and removed the intake on the hood as someone pointed out that Skylines don't have them, duh. I trew a coat of paint on it to see my imperfections better. I chose white, and will put either blue or red strips across it. Still need some body clean-up work though.
I'm thinking I might take a little off the side skirts, they stick out a little too far.

Thanks Azimov, I started using Tamiya masking tape instead of generic 3M. It doesn't let clear coat bleed thru either and has a lot better edge to it.
