The track is not very fast but it is fun. We needed to pactise a little so that we didn´t left the track unintentionally but now we do better and better. If you´d like to drive faster you definatly need a larger trak with more straight lanes. but for indoor it mor than ok.

That is a cool looking track!
I like the idea of modular carpet squares.

I was wondering if the hook side of velcro would stick to the carpet and maybe that could be used to attach side walls to the track.

How much effect does the paint have on the carpet surface? it seems to me like it might make it sort of hard/slippery.

I may look into doing this but only if I can use clothing dye to mark off the track squares.

The paint makes the green a littel harder. And fluffs with paint stick to the car when driving over the green parts of the track.

Whats Velcro?
