That Supra has the stock motor, but I tore out all the gears and relocated the motor so that it's pinion could drive a gear on the axel. I replaced the axel with one from a slot car, added a drive gear from a clone, and it cruises. It's also almost silent.

That's an Awesome R/C from Wal-Mart. Some call them the new and improved MotoWorks, whatever, they come in a little Nitrous bottle and have 2Fast2Furious ricer bodies. They have reeeeaaallly tiny wheels that spin like mad out of the box. There's a thread on here all about them.

yeah, hehe.. that Microsizer lap counter thingy doesn't seem to be sensitive enough to catch a high speed object blowing past it's sensor. It say's you have to be within 8" of the sensor to register, but at times I was within millimeters of it and it still didn't work. I plan on modifying it so that it uses a laser instead of whatever sensor it uses now...ultrasonic maybe?
