Ok guys...even if you could download the game...you'd still need the shockwave player! Also I never log on to shockwave to play their games, so I don't know what you guys are doing.

You want to complain about a free game to play? go ahead, spend your $50 on a better version, hence paying the money for it.

What does it have to do with ZIPZAPS? hmm that's an easy one, they have new cars and want to sell them, they also want the movie to do good, so "hey, here's an idea we release a game showing our cars and driving all crazy to help promote the movie, which will promote our cars". This is a solid marketing stratedgy for both Universal Studios' 2 Fast 2Furious, and ZipZips new 2F2F cars.

It's all about marketing

Binary: But I was able to play the 1st version on the Zipzaps game on my computer when I d/led it to my hard drive

They should have added a closed circuit (multiple laps) track on ZZ v.1 without having to collect batteries & coins

Also about marketing, want to end them making games? Stop buying the ZZ's...hahaha that'd piss of the Shack.

I've already swore that I wouldn't buy any more ZZs, but then they hit me with their clever marketing strategies.

What can I say? I'm weak.

First of all, sure mine might be faster, but you gotta watch the "downloading" commercial. I also have a cable modem, pushing the max, which is 2.1mbps useable (not crappy marketing, this is tested using www.bandwidthplace.com).

sorry, i didnt mean a slow download, i meant the gameplay itself. its all... slow and choppy and crap framerate. hard to control too. it only takes me about 2-3sec to download too so its the game itself.

I had the same poor framerate problem with this one, as well as the older version of the game they had at the site.

The older one had a downloaded self-running version, and it had just as bad of a framerate -

I tried both of the games on an AMD550 and a PIII500, but the game was too slow to be playable. About the only PCs that I've found that can run this thing smooth is an 800mhz or higher CPU. Damndest thing is, for such a **TINY** gameplay window (what is that thing anyways, 320x200 or something like that?), it should scream even on an antique 486 LOL.
