good idea hog! Although, does it mess with your range? If its only a few feet, I would sacrafice it, cause I race on smooth concrete, so i know what your talkin about,cause in a part of my house we pulled up carpet. I use it as a driving place cause carpet slows me down too much.

in theory you should get a range increase of about .5inches because the magnet makes the antenna about 3mm longer.

ok, thanks. I will defantly try this then. I was just wondering cause of the magnetic field the magnet makes.
