Or for prebuilt Li-Ion kits, simply use double sided tape or your choice of cable tie fitments.
Li-Poly cells should fit flat across if you can clear the drive axle.
2/3A cells are also a possibility...........
Dremel the chassis to fit your needs..........

soo...no upperdeck/pro mod kit for the pan chassis? aftermarket electronics may be a problem to mount.i may have to reconsider purchasing the pan chassis...
are 2/3a really posible?!? it would be kool to use gp1100's in an xmod.their like the best for 1/18 cars.

Zero,
You think you're gonna do another line of the silver chassis? I like the new, smoother clearcoat on these red chassis' you have.

Zero, just as an idea, if you used a longer piece with holes that ran to end end of the subframe on the short setting, it'd make fitting 1:24 scale bodies on simple as hell.

nice ideas all...............
It is very hard to fit the micro electronics in with the the center battery deck, fit my Supra but not the RSX-Mustang-350Z. its a little simpler when you Dbl-Sd tape to the batts and push those wires into the cavities. And working with just 2 aa's is somewhat easier.
Probably won't make another run in silver Tex as I am having to buy a full sheet to get the good stuff and at $350 bucks a pop, well you can see the economics.
Hadn't thought of extending the rear of the chassis, but you could buy 2 and give it a try or make your own extension and bolt it in place.
Thanks for the input

Zero, as another idea, you could make an extension that would bolt down where the rear deck was, then the deck would bolt to that. Since you use washers, it'd take the place of them.
