novastar512: Thats lookin pretty killer dude! As far as headlight and tailight colors go, Why not make clear to leave room for a light mod in the not to distant future?

Pie: I am glad to see you finally opened your AM set. cars that beautiful just wernt ment to sit around and be watched..... I must say I am inclined to agree with pig and novastar about grad. Sure its cool to think that you are done highschool and all that ****, but all in all, for me anyways, grad was just another get together with friends to have a good time..... Nothing special really. heh Now that I think about it my friends grad was much more fun than my own..... heh dont forget to carry your "get out of jail free" card around with you, Pig wont always be there to save the day

Ralliart: Ouch man, that sounds kinda rough...... You know what i suggest to sure such a day.... heh go through poop in someones pool. I heard a rumor that was a great way to releave stress.

Anyone headin to the mall this weekend? We should get together and do somethin if anyone is free.... I got a buddy comin to Edmonton from Calgary, so there is a good chance I will end up at WEM for a long ass time..... ........ ..... did I hear someone say Initial D??................ hmm strange..
We gotta play that "photohunt" gam again, it seems someone has pushed AMC off the top ten!

A question for all AMC and or AMC readers: Where would you say is the cheapest place in Edmonton to get a few clones? I just need a couple to rape the hell out of..... I cant stand looking at this chassis unmodded any longer.

hehe nova,,.. me and ralliart panicked when our bitmod buy died... so on impulse i ordered the 2 ID sets we so desperately need from JDM... their prices are *very* competitive... 5-10 more than swavey's!

clone lancer eh? look cool.. i say strip the paint off the outside, and paint the inside either white or silver... very very lightly tho, as to be able to do a light mod later on. that's some nice spring suspension too... dammit! i gotta find softer springs!

hmmm i found something weird with my AM set... the tires look and feel like clone tires... but that's swappable. the range isnt too great, but that's fix-able.. not gonna do anything tho cuz it's too precious couple other little things, but those arent important.. but.. there was a crack in the back tab when i opened it... that aint no good... so i crazyglued it, and it's fine... a little lumpier (haha) but it's all good.... am i pissed? HELLS NO... the AM set is soooo swweeeeettt.... ahaha, i made a track on my desk last night and ran it for like an hour... mmm booooost.... haha, im so not even lowering this thing

what day we talkin about swavey? im goin on friday for sure, but my friend's leavin @ 5... she gotta go to brown church... lol, but u free on friday? hmm i MIGHT be able to go in the early afternoon on saturday and MaYbE on sunday.. saturday's the other grad... the dinner thingy... (damn waste of time)... and i should bring some other friends... ownage of photohunt!!!! but yeah, im goin for sure on friday... u?

clones... well they got panthers in WEM for 25 last time i checked... i can look for shens for you, but im not sure if i can find them... if i can, they're 26.... bad price, hell yes... but if you wanna order from onlyJDM, they're like 22... for an LXX,... and you get some nice bodies.. calsonic, etc... i'll take a look around sometime.. the price has to have gone down...

*edit: ralliart... you like old school music rite? what about the beegees, or abba? oomg.... abba's so good... and no, im not a freak ^___^

hmm...i think the cheapest and best clones are the ones Pie are talking about...unless southgate has some Shens.
Noooo! our photo hunt score is gone? thats it, we gotta make it top 5 or 4 next time. I cant make it out this week, but i might be able to go saturday morning but thats just to meet Pie and get the iD sets. Cause i got chinese school right after so....

nova- nice lancer, i think you should clear the headlights for some ultra blue lights .

well, my lancers going good. I am slowly scraping off the paint which was on the front and tail lights. It's gonna be so sweet. I think I'll repaint it red.

Seriously though. There are a ton of clones at wallmart. They have Motorworks, for 20 bucks. Mini Master Racers for 10 bucks! These othe ones that have a old school controller and not the stupid bullet ones for 15 bucks(might buy one with a civic lookalike), plus turbo racers(bullet) for 15 dollars. Plus now that have track pieces(like the digi-q) but didn't see the price, and I didn't want to ask a clerk cause I;m 17 lol.

Have you guys heard of tin racers? There is this guy selling them in Calgary over the net for 25 bucks! Supposedly with good NimH batteries it runs for like 2 hours and going about 6 kph-35 with a upgrade. But it's not proportional. Anyone heard of these guys?
EDIT: here's a linkg www.kps.kitella.com/tincars

Oh, I just saw a new wrx a few days ago and it was a wagon, now all the wrx's look like the sti!!! They are so sweet!!!!!!!!!!

LOL swavey, sweet... the smallsize works eh?

any loss in speed, but gain in torque?

hmmmm... those DUBS are pretty damn huge.. they're not all that wide, but the tires are removeable. they're a little bit bigger than the normal rear wheels, whjich means i can stuff them into the wheels wells, but i cant be sure how high it's gonna sit... of course im going to have to lower it... just gotta get some more axles and some more knuckles.. .damn! not enuf knuckles...

heh, gotta put in the cross drilled rotors too.. they're nice, but not attached to the wheel... it's gonna take a lot of work getting it going.. and about those other rims, swavey how'd you get them off? i took the car apart but it doesnt seem to have removeable wheels... kinda like a hotwheels car...???

and lower it first! it always looks better lowered... =) and those custom wheels... wait til you see the bigass 5 spokes!

*i liked the old WRX =\
**ooooooooo that reminds me! i should bust out the old.... or new... soldering iron, see how that thing goes! mmm 45 watts..

*** Edit : heh, went and played some ID 2day... guess who has the FASTEST TRUENO UPHILL?!?!?!

I have decided not to lower it yet... I know, sounds stupid, but trust me there is reason to my madness... I figure since Im gonna be doing a custom body for this car anyways (thinking of the diecast bodies pie and I baught the other day) I will just set the body up to be lowered, then tweak from there.....

I have decided to dive deep right off the start. With an extended chassis mod. I am trying to decide if I really want to cut up a shen chassis, anyone got an extra clone chassis thats been parted out? that they could donate to a good cause, heh. And in the mean time Im gonna get some custom rims happenin. Just gotta get to the city and buy a new car for them (Pie: that green ugle one with the sweet rims) then all will be well.....

I really enjoyed doing that small wheel mod today, heh anyone want one done just let me know, I think I get er figured now, lol.

*imaging the best set up for future dual or triple cell*

Swavey Out

?! no lowering? well damn man! i guess that's not so bad, just so long as you got plans... cant wait to see hte custom! i'll throw you over my eclipse body... i dont want it, and im not gonna be doin any extended soon..

btw, how did you get the hubcaps off the light-up cars? (oh yeah.. and they're actually only 1 LED... they use total internal reflection to get it to light everything up.. heh, i remember 1 thing from physics class! hmm the green one eh? repaint!

ralliart's got a raped chassis, but i think he's usin that for fitting an internal dual cell... im still freaked, and not sure if i wanna pass up my shen... right now it's missing front knuckles tho, cuz i painted the wheels white and usin it to swap fronts on whatever car im modding... oh yeah, and the whtie wheels look sweet! next project is the dub wheels.. but lowering the supra chassis first..

kk after opening the yellow lancer, i got a couple conclusions about second gen BCGs vs 1rst gen.

1. Second Gens run more current, allowing my 3.0 to actually work nicely in them. This also means runtimes are shorter.
2. Second Gen has crappy range, and im not sure how to fix it completely. hopefull ima try removing the car's crips.
3. NONE of my controllers have crip caps in them. None.
4. ... using first gen controller of same freq = better range.

knights- that link was posted awhile ago...but its still nice to look at

Yeah i've noticed bad range on my supra, and also bad range on my friends nsx-r. Whasupwitdat? Should i do the POTS mod for more range? Pie, how did you get that knot in the intenna untangled? it seems like you gotta lift the PCB really high to undo the knot.

Yeah swavey, i have a busted up clone chassis, but im going to rape the interior plastic stuff that holds the battery....so would you still want it?

Damn man...today i got called down to the office and guess what happens? I get a 3 day suspension for saying bad stuff to a teacher about a different teacher. So i guess that teacher told on me (he was suppose to be the cool/dont give a $h!t teacher, but i guess i was wrong). But yeah...i didnt think it was THAT big of a deal, but whats done is done. I shouldnt have said it but i guess i had to let off some steam. At least i get to do stuff with my bits and sleep in (sukkas..hahah jk jk)

Today i put the castrol supra decals on, and its soooo nice!!! i put the body onto a pullback chassis and its wayyy nicer on black wheels! Tomorrow i think im going to do the Mobile 1 NSX, if not tomorrow then probably the day after that.
