hmmmmm...I believe I bought mine at gamestop. Can't really remember. hehe But it's a pretty cool street racer type game. Physics of it aren't very realistic but heck it's just for fun. And yeah I kinda noticed that a lot of the reviews that I found a while back about it are no longer there...kinda strange...oh well, I say again, still a cool game.

Here I found it at Gamestop. 19.99 plus shipping for brand new and 17.99 plus shipping for preowned. Not sure about shipping to Canada though...

edit: oops forgot the link

ok ok ok... guys.. Tokyo extreme racer zero is the most under rated game ever..

the physics are awesome and the graphics are great! this definatly is on the same level as GT3... but its just a high way street, riced rockets, C, B, A class, most are jap cars, a couple are european.. KICK ASS GAME!

u must pick it up... the game play is way better than automodellista.. just AM has online mode.... but i here the makers of this game, in japan are making a mountain pass battle game.. i saw screen shots but i forgot where they are... but yeah... dont doubt this ****, its the best street racing game out there.... cheap too.

really... the upgrade features is great... u will get alot out of a small game.. play the quest mode and thats all u need.. if ur a fan of street racing... heres ur game..

http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/data/30433.html this site has all the stuff u need, from FAQ's to Car lists and Message boards.... see me as initial speed there.

ill get those pics ASAP

awesome! thanks for the pics! hehe The bB looks kinda funny with that blower looking hood scoop.

Well...I have to disagree here ( ), the graphics and physics engine of TERZ are no where near as refined as GT3's are. Now I'm not saying that TERZ is not a great, fun game, on the contrary it's a great game, but the aforementioned aspects are not equal. As far as street racing games go, TERZ beats'em all. As far as racing games as a whole go (pro and street racer), GT3 beats'em all in all aspects (graphics, physics, gameplay, etc.).

So is TERZ worth getting? If you're into cars, street racing, imports then *YES*, by all means get it! It's a great game and worth the buy. Get it! Get it now! Does it beat GT3? Only in that it is a street racing game, in all other aspects, no.

And that's my 2 wheat pennies.

oh yeah! LOL sorry I forgot about the insurance. Got too involved in the GT3-TERZ discussion. Anywho, generally light trucks run less insurance, for people under 25, than sedans and/or sportier cars do. I know that when I was looking at getting my first car (first car that I would buy but second car I had "owned") I decided on either a Sentra or a Ranger. The insurance for the Sentra was a good 40 or 50 bucks more a month than the Ranger. A) because it was an import and parts cost more (OEM ones anyway), B) it's closer to a sports car than the truck is, and C) statically young drivers tend to have less wrecks in trucks (usually...). Although since the one you're looking at is an import it may be about the same insurance-wise. To be honest, I can't be totally sure but I'm willing to bet the truck is gonna be less insurance.

gotta get this game.... !! i just wish they had network for it!

ima have to go back to AM for that... heh, just started GT3 all over .. friggin trueno! so weak... cant even break the tires loose ><"

but yeah... insurance? ouch.. insurance is a bitch for anyone under 21... driving my mom's subaru is about 1600 Canadian a year... if we were to get a new car, it'd jump to about 4-5 grand, depending on the car. lets say for fun it was a sentra... SE-R..prolly about 6k insurance for me.. if it were to be a truck, prolly less, even if the truck was more expensive, cuz what are the chances i'd go racing in a truck, rite? if it's YOUR truck, im willing to guess that insurance is gonna be about 3k USD...

you could always go for a beater jeep TJ or something... ugly as they are, they're good off roaders...
