all i gotta say to Wrecks, (heh prolly not even reading this) is that if you come up here and laugh at my friend's riced out supra, well then, you'd better like the smell of exhaust and toasted clutch...

he's an idiot if you ask me... but numbers dont lie... 850 hp supra, 10.8 something 1/4s.... it's kinda pointless tho, trying to park that thing in a garage... freakin ram a hole in the wall if you tap the gas... lol

if u wanna see what his car is based on, go to the supra store, check out the owner's black supra that looks bone stock on the outside...

i would take the neon any day. im not a honda hater. ive owned hondas and think they are great cars. i just dont like the stylng of the honda, and if you ask me 90% of those cars out there have the fisherprice styling... even the honda. i drive a nissan now.. its just as fast as the SI, it just dosent make as much noise. anyway i just didnt want anyone thinking im one of the honda haters. they are great, but i choose to have different cars now.

by fisher-price I mean cheap feel and bad quality a problem almost all domestic cars are experiencing IMO. Do I love Honda? Not really I'd probably take the Neon. Offer me a WRX or the Neon and I'll take the WRX hands down.

we are talking about the Neon SRT-4. coming out this summer or spring i believe. or it might already be out.. anyway it has 215hp and boasts a sub 6 second 0-60

i believe it's 0-60 was around 5.6 not bad at all. I'm just pissed that it's still FWD.

i seen lots of stuff about this neon, and yes, it probably is faster than an s2k.. but as japanese cars go, most of them arent very fast in a straight line... if you think the neon can outpreform an s2k, well yeah, on a 1320, but not on a track... also, japanese styling is more to my liking... as well as the rice factor.. hehe, all the old people: "damn those young asian kids with their loud cars!"

i'll admit the SRT-4 (right?) is damn fast on a straight... but hell, i'll put money down that a bone stock RSX (not even type-S) or an integra GS-R could eat it alive on a nice twisty track...

(btw, im asian... who here is asian and would take the neon?

yeah you know i hear all about these tiwsty tracks, and id just like to ask you how manytimes in between stoplights all you lil ricers have these twisties.. i dunno around here our stoplights are all along our main roads and pretty much in a traight line.. twisties is such a stupid ricer cop out.. it MAKES ME SICK to hear about it. pretending to be professional racer with stock tires and inporperly lowered suspsension. how great do you honestly believe your cars will handle like that?? omg. SHUT UP.. u wanna talk abotu twisties.. the 1974 fiat x1/9 will eat any jap car ill see on the road today in THE TWISTIES.. for god sake give it a rest..

I have seen alot of neons, the normal one or the regular rt at many scca events and they do handle the track very well, post some of the fastest times.

not all us ricers have "improperly lowered suspension", and most of the ricers opt for new rims as the first thing they'll to do a car they intend to race with... and besides, **nods head** we all loooove to pretend to be professionals! especially when the looks of the car makes it go faster!

i dunno what your prejudice is... but not all rice kids think they're professionals... some may, but then again a lot may not... again, all my friends dont chop their springs... they buy factory lowering springs and ask a body shop to do it..

even without the "improperly lowered suspension", celicas, preludes, RSXs, all stock, have relatively high numbers on slolam tests... tell me.... what do you drive? or what do you PLAN on driving? (realistically...)

as for the riced out supras you see around, you show me an american or european car for 90k USD (use the money however you want) that can be used as a daily driver, and pull high 10s on street tires, no nitrous, street legal, no crap. it may not be able to slolam well, but it sure as hell rapes whatever you throw at it on those straight roads you're talking about!

and as for your fiat... it's old.. but im sure it handles well... you wanna try beating a trueno? no, it's not from watching initial D, my friend has one, and if you think you can outhandle it... well, i guess you could always try...

and exactly who's side are you on... american? euro? orrr... against all cars?! ('cept that fiat) ^_^

you throw me a category of racing, i'll show you a japanese car that owns whatever you suggest, for a lower price.
