Will there be a 2nd generation of XMODS?

I'm a noob and I'm debating on getting a Mini Z or an XMOD. But this thread is not about M vs X. What I wanna know:

Are there plans to make a 2nd generation of XMODS and when? IE, if I go XMOD now, should I buy now or wait for a 2nd gen?

You mean a second set of internals? Well there's not much reason to wait, because as soon as they get here, you can bet that they'll either (1) fit right into the old ones or (2) you'll be able to make them fit.

If you're talking about bodies, you can just buy Mini-Z or just about any other 1:28-scale model body and put it on top of the XMODS chassis. For the price of a Mini-Z, you can get an XMODS that'll smoke it, and look good.

But I believe that RS is planning on releasing several other bodies specifically for the XMODS as is. The electronics I'm not sure about, but that's hardly going to matter. There's enough of a market already.

if you do a search for "Next Generation" you might find a thread that BC put together a while ago. there is also one by me read them both and some people believe that there already has been a "second generation".
