Anyone looking foreward to Final Fantasy X-2?

I am a big RPG fan. I spent hundreds of hours on Final Fantasy X, but that was before Zips, etc. I will most likely get FFX-2 and spent a fair share of my time with it. Anyone else?

Final Fantasy kicks ass!

The Final Fantasy games have to be the biggest hit in the video game world. They're all different from each other and they do nothing but get better. My favorite FF game would have to be FF7. I spent hundreds of hours playing it because it was like no other game i had played. that was also the first RPG game that i ever played and that made me want to play them even more so i pretty much only play RPGs now.

Kinda. The game is on my Christmas list, but I never even finished FFX..RPG's tend to lose my attention after a while. On the day I bought Kingdom Hearts (which was good.) I also bought another game for 20 smackers, a lil something called Tokyo Xtreme Racer: Zero. Know what game got the most attention?..TXR0. There was something about it that made me unable to stop playing. Now I've got TXR3 and its 60X better. But I'll definately TRY to put down TXR3 for a moment or two to give FFX-2 a little bit of my time.

lol the last few boss battles wer boringly ez (i used yuna summons to train and ended up covering about 3/4 of the grid and the very last boss only took about 2 duble casts of ultima). not sure about ffx-2, it seems kinda weird...changing clothes for class types, only 3 main characters, and all the unexpected things. prob gona get it later wen it costs less heh

Not at all.
I'm the most enormous RPG geek I know, and I know like four people. I toasted FFX in 53:Something, and I loved every second of it. The story was the most well-concieved one man has ever managed into a video game, period. The graphics were indescirbibly fantastic, leaps and bounds better than I ever thought the PS2 could produce. The music was addicting enough to make me down...buy the soundtrack and listen to it compulsively, as an addict to his PCP. I was all kinds of excited when I heard my heros at Square Enix were releasing a secondary epilogue to the story in addition to the next and new FFXI.

But you know, FFX-2 sucks, and that's not cool.

Yuna's wearing hotpants, singing into a microphone on a stage, and slinging pistols of some kind. Rikku...I'm not even botherig with how they might make Rikku a bigger sex object. And then the only other main chracter is some totally foreign and monstrously ugly woman who I guess they tried to replace my dearest Lulu with. Where did the Final Fantasy cool go? Did they completely remove it in every aspect of the game on purpose? Were they sitting there, thinking to themselves, 'You know, we really need a game that just flat-out isn't good at all.'?

No, I'm not looking forward to it.
I'll bet you figured that out, though.
