Well, it's my "junker" cuz it's the only one I run outside right now, and I don't care if it gets scratched up and stuff.

hehe, you guys would cry if you already seen teh hell my poor supra has seen.
First day of being run, and it already has a cracked headlight and has the finish scraped off on the lower peices of bodywork.
But again, I haven't been known for being the most gentle on things...

I think I'm gonna slap a coat of primer only on one of mine, maybe paint some of the panels a different color, put different expressive sayings all over it, paint white stripes on the tires, and go head on with every pebble, stone, or rock in the road!

hehe, this one, being my first x-mod, and white not being my first choice...it was either this or a civic or RSX...really I'd rather see a WRX or a EVO than a civic or RSX...but oh well...so white supra it was...and a beater was born.
At least white doesnt show half the abuse it has taken
For show I'd get a red one.....gotta hope i can find a decent source for some carbon-fibre look tape for the stock hood though...that body kit hood doesn't do much for me.
EDIT: oh...and the way it got scraped up so badly....I was practicing dry ground drifting in the alley behind my house...fun fun fun

I am thoroughly impressed...
One word BC: WOW! That is the best looking beater-mobile I have seen yet. I'm extremely impressed with the work you put into all your cars. Do you really have that much time on your hands? Or do you just not sleep at all? lol. I hardly ever have time to work on my custom Porsche between two jobs and college. Props to you on all your cars man. Take a look at my Porsche GT-1 and leave some ideas. I'm working on a full custom frame since it (according to neuro) does not fit on any of the XMod frames. I'm also going to get the RS light kit to put into w/in a day or two, I'll try to get some pics once I get that done. The paint job on mine is "Pactra Racing Finish (For R/C Cars) RC65 Metallic Blue" but so far it is not looking near as good as your Tamiya Metallic Blue Skyline. Maybe it could be due to hand-brushing or even no clear-coat as of yet. It also has some custom black accents (back of the rear end, the overhead air intake, rims, etc.) but that's pretty much all I've got done on it yet (that is, paint and partial assembly). Props again on your cars.

Thanks for the compliments! I really don't have the time for these things, I just make it. I only work one job, and I get home around 3:30pm from that, so that leaves me with the rest of the day minus the usually stuff.
That's a nice project you have going on there with the Porsche. I think your problem with the paint is you are using RC car body paint which is made to adhere to lexan bodies, not normal plastic bodies.

This was my first car, which I used to drive outside. It has since gone on to be painted as the metallic blue Skyline you may have previously seen.
