The chassis will not fit regular bit bodies. The Mario does come off, but there are various "cart" peices that are seemingly attached to the chassis.

There is a regular bit chassis underneath Mario, he comes off the chassis and clips on to the sides of the chassis, the steering wheel and exhaust pipes come off. The rear axel come off like a regular bit, however the wheels are specific to mario (they say mario kart). The tires are regular bit tires. You can change motors ( It is recomended because it comes with a 1.0. Note: My mario would not turn a 3.0 from a dead start so a 2.6 is your best bet). Mario is the best bit I have to race because he is heavier than most other bits and can nock them around on the track. Be careful though because he is an open wheeled car and if his tires hit a wall you will slow down dramatically.

If there is anything else let me know.
Josh

I just opened up my Mario Cart about 5 days ago. I can't put it down. I haven't had this much fun with a micro since my very first one. If you get bored of Micro's, buy a Mario Cart and your love for micros will be renewed. I've already got Yoshi on ordered now.

Without those hubcaps extensions, Mario won't turn without flipping. With those hubcap extensions, it won't flip at all.

Mine is just about the same as my booster skyline with a 3.0 and 9.86:1 gearing. I've got a pink endbell clone motor in him, and he flies.

It comes with a 1.0, so you'll need to change motors. It does weight more then a standard body, but not by much. I'd say it went just as fast as any other stock Bit with a 1.0.

I got one too! Actually, it's the only car I have. If you want to use the special Mario Kart wheels, you're stuck with 9.86 gears. It drives great, and the range is awesome right out of the box.

Hey John, I had the same problem with my 3.0 in the Kart. You have to make it sit a lot lower in the chasis than it wants to. Read this thread. The Mario Kart with my 3.0 motor is the most fun car ever!

And how did you get the pink clone motor to fit? One of my friend's cars broke and he gave it to me, but I can't use it.
