Original ZipZaps & More (Hey Tiny?)

Hey Guys, I haven't posted in a long time. There was a time where I was here 3-4 times a day posting and reading away. You can say I left when the craze died down and now I have a serious question to ask.

I own almost every first run car that came out. I have every original ZIPZAP unopened and then some. I own every Bit I could find including several from Japan. I also have two of the limited runs that I paid almost $150ea for. I think they're called the Voltz(?). So that car (my most expensive micro) to the Disney bus to the regular Bits and Zips, I have them all. Not too mention at least 50 of the generic brands and 4-5 of the Digi-Q's. I have XMODS, Mini'z's, a Mini-t and PARTS PARTS PARTS. I need to get rid of everything. So here is my question...Do I sell them now as one big LOT or do I hold on to them for an investment like I planned on doing from the beginning? I see the trend dying. I don't care about a profit, but I also don't want to get hosed. What would a collection like this be worth and is there someone out there still interested in buying such a lot? Rough estimates are OK.

Here's a post I found from 2002 that has pics of some of my cars. These pics were taken in the middle of my addiction. I have at least doubled that collection by now. If it was popular, I bought it. Hell, if it wasn't popular, I still bought it.

I don't think holding the lot is worthwhile but you probably have a few or more (ie: Voltz) that are worth holding on to. Not to put down this site but I think there are a few guys on Bitpimps that can give you better info on this. Like Darktari, who is also on this site.

Also, if you're selling, I'm interested

Thanks for the response

Thanks for the response.

It's been fun looking back on this site. I really had fun collecting them and performing every mod I could find on this site. I built two great tracks, but had to destroy them to make room. I only wish I had taken some pics first for you guys. They were unbelievable. I had one with a real lake and working waterfall that the cars drove under.

I'm really interested in selling my collection, but it would have to be a fair price. If you're really serious, I'll sit down and take an exact inventory for you. I know I've got more than $4500 into these, but would be more than happy with $3000. That would include everything. My Battle tanks, Mini Sub, Mini-t, Mini-Z's, Xmods, ZipZaps, Bits, Clones, micro boats, micro Motorcycles, Parts, Pieces, body kits, accessories, you name it. It's a lot! Shipping would cost a pretty penny. I'll even throw in my soldering iron, clamps and molding equipment/resin/solution.

I'm not interested in the whole lot but if you do part it out I would be interested in some things. Thanks

Sounds like you've got an amazing setup, but I think you'll do better if you part the stuff out instead of sell the lot

Ditto to frizzen's post.
Selling the whole collection in one lot will be more convienent for you, sure, but you won't get nearly ($$$) what it's worth. Damn I wish I weren't broke, I'ld love a couple of un opened anything.
