It's great that you want to help the community but I think it's better to just participate in an existing one, like you're doing right now (TRC). Besides, managing a discussion group is a daunting task- unless you really have a lot of free time (now if there was a way for people with a lot of free time to give it to people who don't, like me ).
I love the TRC community because it doesn't get as chaotic as some of the other boards thanks to our moderators. in fact, I have more posts on TRC than all the other discussion groups combined (I think).

What would be the point? There are already several small XMod forums that wont ever get very big. Why would yours be any different?

I just don't see why I'd start posting or whatever in both places, what would be the difference that you can't just hold everything to this one forum here?
I'm not trying to discredit your idea, or stop you from doing it, I'm just explaining my very own little viewpoint. If you want to start a group/forum/website or whatever, let her rip.

The problem with all these little groups and sites that pop up is that they don't create a community at all, they create cliques. If anything, we should all be trying to promote TinyRC, to attract quality members and give people a good one-stop-shop for information and parts.

Yeah, I belong to 4 different ones and 95% of the time, I stay on TRC. The people are friendly, Moderators are FAIR and most everyone in here gets along with everyone else. It is truly a "COMMUNITY". Why go elseware? Unless its because you feel you need seperation from the greatest XMODS forum around. Its the easiest to join, post, read and upload pics on the net that I have found. A wealth of information and if its not in the forum itself, Then someone most always posts a link to it in another one. I'm all for the Xmod community growing, but why not promote it here where its already accepted?
Just my 2 cents for what its worth.
