after doing two battery cars i had one major problem. controlling all that power. heres what i have done to make my ride handle better.
suspension springs. those stabilizer bars just dont cut it.
modified rear axle. i dremelled out the axle holder and slipped a qtip tube over the axle and epoxied it in place to tighter specs than stock.
more weight over the rear axle. this is still work in progress but i have a dime taped on top of the body/2nd battery and this really helps it go strait. it loses a little bit of acceleration off the line but is neglegable with two batteries and a good motor and keeps the rear end from slipping around on slick surfaces.
the body looks fairly crude at the moment but my next project is to incorporate all the extra weight into the shape of a new body then she will be painted up and ready to bling.
