Well I i haven't touched my xmod in ages
mostly because:
1)i got tired of its poor handling outside on pavement
2) 4wd is so unefficient and the front axles break too easily
3) i have lithium ion batteries mounted as low as possible and with any configuration rwd or 4wd hard soft springs etc...my car flips over like crazy if i take a high speed turn!!!!
so after a very long time thinking about how to make my xmod streetable i decided to turn the rims inside out so the width of the car was wider...this helped a little but sucked because you couldn't use the body!
so i put the front rims back to normal and the left the back rims inside out. Then I took a spare rim and with a dab of ca glue and electrical tape matched the rims evenly so both tires were flat and evenly matched with each other(very important) then i put on a tri-shock which is a monoshock and the regular shocks...this was important becuase it is very stiff and keeps the tires always on the ground flat to take full advantage of both tires...
WOW IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY! I wish i had a camera to show you guys but the acceleration is awesome and it handles like a champ and hardly ever flips
i even experimented with the rims and tires and used 3 rims and tires! this works even better...stabillity is amazing and even with tight turns and my top speed motors(i have a custom turbo and i custom wound a 22turn 26 gauge arm with fat comm, carbon brushes, neo mags bb can) it doesn't spin out easily or flip...
