4'x6' track - what should I do?

I have the space to make a 4x6 track. I always wanted to make a city type track but I am not sure if I could make a decent one with my limited amount of space. I think I may have to make one as just a race track. I have a few designs asuming the lanes are 1 foot wide. I know that is wide but it is much easier to design that way. I think maybe 8 inches would do okay on the straights and 10-12 inches for the curves. What track widths would you say would be good for bit charges with 2.2 or maybe some booster cars with 2.8's. The most cars I would run on it would be 2. If anyone has any ideas on track designs (especially city tracks) or track widths I would appreciate it if you would post them.
