dtm better than sp

which do you think is better, the dtm or the dtm sp??

i bought the abc dtm(not sp) right when they came out years ago. i wanted to get an sp until i noticed the motor position, lays flat. i run the orion elite coreless motor in my dtm and i noticed that this motor wont fit in an sp. this motor is awesome, insane speed combined with long run times, even with big gear ratio and stock 270 mah batteries. i ran a 17 pinion with i think a 44 spur= TOOO FAST, i lowered the gear ratio and made the pinion 14, but havent tried it out yet. also, do any of you have problems with your abc's spinning out? my dtm is really prone to spinning out. my dtms specs.......

set up...
the front wheels have quite a bit of toe in to reduce the twitchyness down the straightaway
the rear diff is tight,( should i loosen it if it spinns out too much, i have to baby the throttle coming out of a turn or starting from a dead stop)
