lots of folks have been wanting an all in one solution for doing the fet mod with the voltage regulator all on one board.
well I have been thinking and looking at various speed control's on the net. It has occured to me that the bec function of most speed controlls could be used to power the xmod electronics.
typicaly the bec is 5v at 1.x amp capacity .
Hooking it up would be pretty standard stuff all except one thing.
I dont know where on the electronics board I could grab the signal from the reciever board to feed into the speed control.
I just picked up a extra xmod that I am going to tear the electronics apart to investigate more fully my idea.

check out the R-18 compition speed control. it is rated for up to 10 cell's so li-on or li-polly high voltage experiments would be no problem for it.
if somone has an Oscope and can help me find that signal I would be surely greatful.
