As many of you already know, the antenna wire isn’t held together with much. The terminal at the end of the wire just fell apart on mine. I looked at the solder job on it, and there was barely anything there.
So, what I did was take a piece of that heat shrink tubing that they supplied us with (the little tubes on the end of the axle’s) and slipped the thing over the wire, then re-soldered the wire back on. Then I slid the tubing up to cover the wire and the solder (but left enough room for the screw and antenna to make contact) and shrunk it down.
