I don't know if anybody else has been browsing xmodsrc.com, but the "rate an XMod" section is a joke. They plainly state the rule that only XMods bodies can be displayed, which of course I had to test by submitting my MINI and one of my 'Vettes. Of course they got rejected.

It wouldn't really bother me, as the rules were clear. However, I have seen a WRX, a Focus, and at least two pictures of real cars in there. One is a white Skyline that the submitter photochopped out the backdrop, the other is a green Civic with Altezzas that is blatantly obvious.
Oh, and then there are a bunch of pics where people just ripped the pictures off of the Radio Shack website and posted them up as their own cars.
There are some pretty crappy pics up there, too. Pictures in the dark, pictures badly out of focus, pictures the size of a postage stamp so you can't see anything at all. If you are trying to show off your car, at least make an effort to get the best possible picture. In these days of digital cameras and photoshop, there is little excuse for posting a bad pic. If it comes out bad, either take another pic, or else fix it in photoshop.
And then there is the blatant "sex sells" pic with "Francine Dee" with a stock red Supra with some stickers on it. I think I'm going to get a girl to pose on all fours with my car on her thong-cladden butt. Wonder how it'd rate?
OK, I'm done now...
