The Tennis Courts Testing Grounds

I finally took my ride out for a little wide open running.

Here was my set up:
Skyline
AWD Upgrade
Ball Bearings
Stage 2 30K Drift Motor
3 DEG. Tie Rod
Blue Hard Springs
Hard Treaded Tires On Wheel Upgrade

Results:

One word....FUN! lol

No really, range was great...I think. No problems or stuttering until about 80 feet, then it stuttered, but still responded until 100ft where I ran out of room at that point.

Once I got the trim straight, the car would track straight really well the entire 80ft. I'm not very good at judging speed, but I would say it was around 20mph. Acceleration to that speed was excellent, maybe 15 ft, and braking was about 5-6 feet. Again, I'm not good at judging that stuff, so maybe take it with a grain of salt until you can try it out yourself. (Let me know how I did.)

The car ran a little bumpy even on the smooth tennis court surface, but that may be from the stiff shocks. It still stuck pretty well. I could even get the rear end to come around, and didn't flip once.

Steering was excellent. This thing turned on a dime, even at high speed. A lot better than what I was getting in the kitchen, but then again, I had a lot more traction on the tennis court surface.

I'm going to take my other cars up there tomorrow or the next day with some different set ups. I would like to try the 2WD with the flat out speed motor, and try the softer springs to lessen the bumpyness.

I think I have found my new playground at the tennis courts. Now I just need to make some barrier walls that can moved and make a track.
