OK, the experiments are over. Contrary to popular fear, the new Zip does not produce the same measly output-it just needs the right motor. Specifically, the "fury rotor" from driftkingshop.com. Unfortunatly, he stopped selling them. It is a normal Zip-style can, with a red-orange endbell. This motor has more tourqe and speed than all my others, but i do not have an NX to test it against.
Of course, my old blue civic could not even turn the fury rotor
But the new zips still put up a fuss when it comes to motors, they seem to prefer the coreless ones, the bit kind just don't cut it.
