Been lurking again for a while reading the new posts and waiting for the new SEs to arrive at my local store. Got a yellow Enfini today and like it. Nice addition to my Zip collection. Here's the question. Has anyone had the new controller apart, yet? The steering wheel seems very stiff and I wanted a look at the spring to see if I could soften it up a bit to make it easier to operate. Thinking of putting a rubber ring around the steering wheel as well to make it easier to grip like those on bigger RC transmitters. I took the 4 screws out of the back, but couldn't seem to get it to pry apart without it wanted to break, so I gave up for now. Didn't want to tear it up on the first day.
This time last year, I was having fun tracking down and buying ZipZaps and modifying. I drove 2 hours each way for a Fast/Furious Tuner Set. Made cool little rubber-covered joysticks for my controllers as well. Here we go again.
