I personally like to get my cat, (although nething relatively hairy will do), soak him in petrol, and wipe him accross my controller.
I like to have a cigarette after, but for some reason he runs like crazy when he sees my lighter flame.
Cant understand it.

I have a canned air duster and besides that it's periodic disassembly to get the hair and gunk out.
There is no reason to use chemicals.
