I ordered mine from ehobbies.com. They've got 'em for $48.99.

I did order a 180 motor with it ($9.99), but I didn't order the bearings yet, so someone else will have to help you w/ that.

Yes, the 180 motor is faster. Bearings would be the other upgrade I would recommend, but I still haven't ordered mine yet. You'll be able to get them anytime from pretty much any hobby shop.

Another go-fast mod would be to use a 7.2V battery pack instead of the 4.8V that is standard. This is also a mod that can be done afterwords, so you don't need to worry about ordering it right away.

Catman are you abandoning the Mini-X?

Also why not buy an ABC DTM SP and switch the electronics out, the DTM SP is far superior to a DRR, but the DRR is cheap.

I strongly disagree that the DRR is of cheap quality. It is very much like the ABC.

all you have to do is change tires to foam, maybe get rims for better appearance, and change electronics.

the car itself is well made. the only complaint is the radio. It looks very fugly

My honest opinion: The DTM RR has a lot of potential to go against ABC DTM SP. a Lot.

Horizon hobby has tons 'o parts for the DRR. Do a search on their website for "dyn mini" and a ton of 'em will pop up. There are a couple more places if you need more.

Congrats on the purchase

Yes, the stock ecs can handle 7.2 and a 180 motor with no problem.

I just bought the stock ABC 180 motor. Someone else will have to chime in about other modded motors, cuz I don't know.

I love the mini-X, but right now the Epoch is getting all my attention (fiance` now hates all things rc related).

Good luck with the DRR
