Lightbulb Tomy pullbacks

I was just visiting the Tomy site checking out the upcoming pullbacks. Anyway heres what I noticed first, Wider wheels! Especially the rears, they actually look like deep dish maybe. Now hopefully these to will be swappable *with a little work I'm sure* like the bodies. Because you know you want them, I know I do.

What exactly is a pullback? Does it use a remote control?

No there's no remote control, it's got a wind-back motor in it so you do basically what is says "pull it back" and let it rip. They're cheap $3.25 or something like that, so there great for parts cars and all around fun.

Sweet! Got my pullbacks today, these tires and wheels are Super Cool. The tires themselves are really soft too... probably be great for Drag. And the wheels are a nice improvement over the standard Bit wheels... I love the 5 spoke! I'm really sad that I couldn't get an 86 though .
Looks like there may be a little surgery in the future.

Just did a buy-it-now on a Trueno Sprinter...not that i like the Trueno's i just wanted a pullback...and seems the Trueno might be fun to play with. Or I'm sure someone on here would buy it if i put it in trading.

I'm having a blast with it right now! I'm glad I got two of them; one for parts and one for play. They've got an adjustment for the front steering... kinda like the Bits do but cooler. The resistance seems to be too much to actually turn in the corners of a slot track or something, but you can turn them to one direction to make the car go around in a circle. Which is cool, cause it's better than chasing after it once you let go!

The front wheels are fastened in the same fashion, using a pin. So they'll be easy to swap. As far as the rear wheels are concerned, they need to be removed from the axel they're currently attached to. Since it's a totally different drivetrain it gets scrapped. I won't find out how easy or difficult removing the wheels from the axel will be until tonite... maybe. Gotta see whats on the agenda before I can commit to it .

sup all, just got my tureno pullback today. not sure how easy swapping the front wheels are going to be. the knuckles are different from bit knuckles. one thing i've noticed is the pullbacks are extremely fast in a straight line. i'm certain i could take ANY bit/zip zap in a straight line easy. yes they're that fast. the thing moved over carpet like it wasn't anything... another thing is they're pretty light. no motor, heatsink or battery like in a bit. heh heh at first i was just going to keep the body and trade the chasis away. but now i think i'm going to keep both. anyway. the pullbacks get thumbs up from me.

That's no problem at all because you don't need to swap the knuckles, you just need to pop out the pin and swap the wheels.
And yeah these things do scream! Hella FUN!

Not yet I just got them this morning and I'm still at work ... but just by looking at them you can see that they're attached exactly the same way as the Bit front wheels.
